Allen helps Blues down Jets

Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – Jake Allen made 28 saves to lead St. Louis
to a 4-2 win over Winnipeg Sunday.

Ryan Reaves scored the eventual game-winner at even strength 2:25 into the
third period.

Jaden Schwartz and David Backes added power play goals in the second period,
each time erasing one-goal leads held by Winnipeg.

Bryan Little got the scoring started at the 9:04 mark in the first period to
give the Jets a 1-0 lead, and Jim Slater’s goal for the Jets at the 9:53 mark
of the second period broke a 1-1 deadlock.

Paul Stastny potted an empty netter with 40 seconds left to seal the win for
St. Louis, which got two assists each from Alex Pietrangelo and Alexander
Steen.

Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec made 25 saves on 28 shots.
