Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Patrick Sharp scored in the third round of
the shootout to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 5-4 win over the Ottawa Senators
on Thursday.
Sharp was the final skater of the shootout and he made it count as he faked to
the forehand and roofed the puck over Craig Anderson for the win.
Jonathan Toews scored twice while Kris Versteeg and Marian Hossa each posted a
goal and an assist for the Blackhawks, who have won two of their last three
games. Scott Darling made 28 saves in the win.
Bobby Ryan, Clarke MacArthur, Mark Stone and Mika Zibanejad all scored for the
Senators, who have lost three of their last four. Anderson stopped 35 shots.
