Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Columbus Blue Jackets activated
goaltender Curtis McElhinney off injured reserve on Sunday.
McElhinney suffered an upper-body injury on Oct. 18 in his season debut
against Ottawa nearly halfway through the second period.
To open up a roster spot, the Blue Jackets assigned goaltender Anton Forsberg
to Springfield of the American Hockey League. He had been recalled on Oct. 19
to take McElhinney’s spot, and did not make an appearance.
