Devils activate Zajac from IR

Uniondale, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – The New Jersey Devils activated forward
Travis Zajac from injured reserve on Monday.

Zajac had missed the last eight games with a groin injury and then an illness
which was later confirmed as a case of the mumps which is working its way
through several NHL teams.

Prior to the setbacks, the North Dakota product posted four goals and four
assists in 23 games.

To free up a roster spot, New Jersey assigned forward Mike Sislo to their
American Hockey League affiliate in Albany.
