New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Calgary Flames left wing Johnny Gaudreau
was selected as the NHL’s top rookie for March.
Gaudreau scored seven goals and led all rookies with 16 points in 15 games
last month. He had four multi-point games, including two three-point efforts.
Others considered for the honor included Boston teammates Ryan Spooner and
David Pastrnak, as well as Ottawa forward Mark Stone.
