Galchenyuk nets OT winner as Habs grab 2-0 lead

Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) – Alex Galchenyuk scored the game-winner 3:40
into overtime as the Montreal Canadiens took a 3-2 win over the Ottawa
Senators in Game 2 of this Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

The game-winner was scored when Tomas Plekanec picked off a bad clear at the
top of the left circle and dished it down low for Brendan Gallagher, who got a
shot on net from a sharp angle that Andrew Hammond turned aside. The rebound,
though, came to the right circle where Galchenyuk fired a turnaround shot that
found the back of the net for the win.

Montreal now leads this best-of-seven series 2-0, and the matchup shifts
to Ottawa for the next two games with Game 3 set for Sunday night.
