Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Montreal Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu
will miss the remainder of the first-round playoff series against Ottawa
because of an upper body injury.
Beaulieu sat out the third period and overtime of Game 3 on Sunday because of
the injury. He could miss just one game, if the Canadiens can finish a sweep
of the Senators in Game 4 on Wednesday.
Canadiens coach Michel Therrien on Tuesday said Greg Pateryn would replace
Beaulieu in the lineup for Wednesday’s game.
Beaulieu has one assist in three games this postseason after notching a goal
with eight assists in 64 games during the regular season.
