Halak, Islanders top Oilers

Uniondale, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Jaroslav Halak made 34 saves to help the
New York Islanders top the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2.

Colin McDonald had a goal and an assist for the Islanders, who have won two
straight. Josh Bailey and Casey Cizikas also tallied goals, and Thomas
Hickey had a pair of assists.

Ryan Hamilton scored his first NHL goal, and Anton Lander also lit the lamp
for the Oilers, who fell to 1-2-0 on their six-game road trip.

Viktor Fasth allowed three goals on 28 shots.
