Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Dougie Hamilton had one goal and two assists
in the Boston Bruins’ 4-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.
Carl Soderberg, David Krejci and Gregory Campbell also lit the lamp for the
Bruins, who bounced back from Thursday’s 3-2 loss to the New York Islanders.
Boston defenseman Zdeno Chara hurt his left knee against the Islanders and
will be sidelined for the next 4-to-6 weeks.
Tuukka Rask made 32 saves for Boston, which improved to 5-5-0 on the young
season.
Richard Panik scored the lone goal for the Maple Leafs, who have lost three of
four. Jonathan Bernier stopped 21-of-25 shots before being pulled in the third
period.
