Heatley to minors on conditioning assignment

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Anaheim Ducks assigned forward Dany
Heatley to Norfolk of the American Hockey League Thursday on a long-term
conditioning assignment.

Heatley hasn’t played since Nov. 9 and has been limited to four games this
season because of groin issues, failing to record a point. He originally
suffered the injury in the preseason and missed the first nine games of the
regular season.

In other roster moves, the Ducks activated goaltender Jason LaBarbera from
injured reserve, assigned defenseman Josh Manson to Norfolk and sent
goaltender Igor Bobkov to Utah of the ECHL.
