Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – The Carolina Hurricanes have placed
defenseman Brett Bellemore on injured reserve because of a lower body injury.
Bellemore played only six shifts and just over three minutes in Saturday’s
game against Colorado. In 13 games this season, the 26-year-old Ontario native
has three assists.
The Hurricanes recalled defenseman Michal Jordan from their American Hockey
League affiliate in Charlotte to fill the roster spot. The Czech native did
not appear in a game for Carolina after being recalled earlier this month.
