Kane, Blackhawks top Stars with strong 3rd

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – Patrick Kane posted a goal and two assists
in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 6-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Sunday.

Kane scored 4:49 into the third period to break a 2-2 tie, and Chicago tallied
three more times in the third to pull away. Jonathan Toews, Kris Versteeg and
Brandon Saad also scored in the decisive final period.

Corey Crawford turned aside 22 shots to earn the win, as Chicago won for the
third time in its last four.

Shawn Horcoff and Curtis McKenzie scored for the Stars, who have dropped two
straight on the heels of back-to-back wins. Kari Lehtonen surrendered all six
goals on 47 shots.
