Kings place D Regehr on IR

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Los Angeles Kings placed defenseman
Robyn Regehr on injured reserve Friday with an upper-body injury.

The 15-year NHL veteran was injured blocking a shot during Thursday’s win over
St. Louis.

The Kings recalled defenseman Jeff Schultz from the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs
to take Regehr’s place on the roster.

Schultz, a former first-round draft pick, appeared in 399 NHL games over seven
seasons for the Washington Capitals between 2006-13.
