Lehtera, Price, Forsberg claim NHL weekly honors

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – St. Louis Blues center Jori Lehtera,
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price and Nashville Predators forward
Filip Forsberg have been selected as the NHL’s top players for the week ending
Nov. 16.

Lehtera earned the First Star after tying for the NHL lead in goals (4) and
points (6) along with a plus-5 rating over his club’s three games last week.
Lehtera fueled a 6-1 rout of the Buffalo Sabres last Tuesday by recording his
first career hat trick. The native of Finland, who earned his first career
weekly honor, currently has a seven-game point streak during which he’s
accumulated 11 points (5G, 6A).

Price picked up the Second Star by finishing with a 3-0-0 record, 1.33 goals-
against average and one shutout. His finest performance of the week was a 29-
save, 3-0 victory over Winnipeg which resulted in his 26th career shutout. The
veteran netminder improved to 11-3-1 with a 2.49 GAA this season.

Forsberg was honored as the Third Star, following his five-point (2G, 3A)
week over a three-game span. He picked up the game-winning tally in a 3-2
decision over Edmonton last Tuesday and posted a goal and two assists in a 4-3
loss to the Blues two days later.
