Edmonton, AB (SportsNetwork.com) – Ryan Miller posted 28 saves for his first

Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
Radim Vrbata scored the winning goal in the second period for the Canucks, who

Ben Scrivens allowed just one goal on 29 shots for the Oilers, who are winless

Vrbata’s goal came at the 15:49 mark of the second, as Daniel Sedin picked up
the puck to the left of the net and skated to the other side before firing it
across the goal mouth to give Vrbata an easy tap and his third goal of the

Miller made 11 saves in the second period, then turned aside seven in the
third as Vancouver was able to keep out of the penalty box in the frame.
Sedin’s empty-net goal in the final seconds accounted for the final score.
