Perreault, Jets edge Senators in SO

Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Matthew Perreault scored in the sixth round
of the shootout to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 2-1 victory over the Ottawa
Senators on Saturday.

After Colin Greening’s backhander was stopped in tight by Ondrej Pavelec,
Perreault, the 12th and final shooter, skated slowly up the slot and wristed a
shot past Craig Anderson on the blocker side for the win.

Tobias Enstrom scored Winnipeg’s lone goal in regulation and Pavelec made 37
saves for the Jets, who bounced back from a 4-3 shootout loss to Pittsburgh on
Thursday.

Chris Neil tallied a power-play goal and Anderson turned aside 36 shots for
Ottawa, which had a two-game winning streak come to an end.
