Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber
suffered a subluxed kneecap during the first-round series against Chicago, the
team announced Monday.
Weber was hurt during Game 2 of the series and didn’t play again. The
Predators were eliminated by the Blackhawks in six games.
Reports during the series said Weber had suffered an ACL injury, but the
Predators called those erroneous and on Monday revealed the nature of the
issue.
The Predators said Weber underwent a medical procedure and said the captain is
expected to make a full recovery in four-to-six weeks.
