Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Carey Price stood on his head as the Montreal
Canadiens finally closed out the Ottawa Senators with a 2-0 victory in Game 6
of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.
Price made 43 saves for his fifth career playoff shutout. The veteran
goaltender rebounded after giving up five goals on 25 shots in Friday’s Game 5
loss.
Brendan Gallagher scored in the first period and Max Pacioretty added an
empty-netter in the final second of regulation.
The Canadiens will face either Detroit or Tampa Bay in the next round. The Red
Wings lead that series 3-2.
