Rangers D McDonagh out with separated shoulder

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh
will miss approximately 3-to-4 weeks with a separated shoulder.

Blueshirts head coach Alain Vigneault made the announcement on Sunday
afternoon, revealing the injury occurred in Saturday’s 1-0 home shootout loss
to the Winnipeg Jets.

In addition, defenseman Kevin Klein sustained a foot contusion and will miss
Monday’s contest, as will forward Derek Stepan.

To fill the roster spots, the Rangers recalled defensemen Conor Allen and
Dylan McIlrath from Hartford of the American Hockey League.
