Svedberg gets 1st shutout as Bruins rattle Sabres

Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Niklas Svedberg stopped all 32 shots he
faced and four different players lit the lamp as Boston claimed a 4-0 victory
over Buffalo on Saturday night.

Svedberg, who suffered a hard-luck defeat on Monday when a shot from
Colorado’s Danny Briere eluded him in the final second of regulation in a 2-1
loss, avoided any drama with his first NHL clean sheet.

Dougie Hamilton, Zdeno Chara, Torey Krug and Carl Soderberg provided offense
for the Bruins, who had dropped a 6-4 decision in Montreal on Thursday.

Jhonas Enroth made 32 saves in defeat for the Sabres, who fell to 1-5-0 on the
season.
