New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Minnesota Wild defenseman Marco Scandella
was fined by the National Hockey League on Monday.
The $2,755.38 fine, the maximum allowable, stems from an illegal check to the
head of St. Louis forward T.J. Oshie during a game on Saturday.
Scandella was issued a minor penalty on the play, which occurred at 8:45 of
the first period.
