St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – The resurgent Minnesota Wild placed second-
leading goal scorer Jason Zucker and fellow forward Ryan Carter on injured
reserve Tuesday.
Each sustained upper-body injuries in the first period of Monday’s 5-3 home
win over the Vancouver Canucks.
Zucker has scored 18 goals this season, while Carter has totaled three goals
and 10 assists.
The Wild, who have won six straight and are 8-1-1 in their last 10, recalled
defenseman Stu Bickel and forward Brett Sutter from AHL Iowa to fill the
roster spots.
